This Privacy Policy explains how Lemontree Real Estate, Inc. collects, uses, keeps and protects the personal information of people who use our website. It follows the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
1Who we are
Lemontree Real Estate, Inc. (“Lemontree”, “we”) is a real estate brokerage in Makati City, Philippines. This policy covers the website lemontree.com.ph.
2What we collect
- When you send an inquiry or contact form: your name, mobile number, email address, your message, whether you are a buyer, prospective tenant, agent or broker, how you prefer to be contacted, and the property you asked about.
- When you ask us to list your property: the property details you give us (type, location, size, price and similar).
- When you browse: basic technical data such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and website analytics (see section 6).
We do not ask for government ID numbers, bank details or other sensitive personal information through the website.
3Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and contact you about the property or service you asked about.
- To keep a record of inquiries in our customer database, so that if you contact us again we can continue where we left off.
- To improve the website and understand which properties people look for.
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent. You may visit the website without giving us any personal information; we only receive it when you choose to send a form.
5How long we keep it
The website keeps its copy of each inquiry for 3 years, then deletes it. Records in our customer database are kept while we have a business relationship with you or as required by law, and you may ask us to delete them (see section 7).
7Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your personal information, to object, to have it corrected or erased, to data portability, and to claim damages. To use any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
8Security
We use appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, change, disclosure or destruction: secure connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems, and providers with recognized security practices. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the website.
